  E. Jane Milton appointed Queen's Counsel [added January 28/08]

Bull, Housser & Tupper LLP is pleased to announce that E. Jane Milton has been appointed Queen’s Counsel by the Attorney General of British Columbia. Under the Queen’s Counsel Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Attorney General, may bestow on lawyers in British Columbia the honorary title of Queen’s Counsel to recognize exceptional merit and contribution to the legal profession.

Ms. Milton is a senior partner and has practised with the firm for over 23 years. She has extensive experience in the areas of insolvency, general commercial litigation, and trust and estate litigation. Ms. Milton has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading lawyer in the area of Trusts and Estates (2006, 2007, 2008) and has achieved the Martindale-Hubbell ranking of BV.
